I am meant to be in California. I may have not been born there, but it’s where I belong. I count down the days until I can pack a bag, leave everything here and just go. It’s where I fit, where I feel alive. The carefree sunshine is what I need and I just don’t know how long I can last not being there.
So apparently I can’t be happy. I thought this...
I’ve made mistakes in my life. I’ve let people take advantage of me and I’ve accepted way less than I deserve. But I’ve learned from my bad choices and even though there are some things I can never change, and some people who will never be sorry, I’ll know better next time and won’t settle for anything less than what I deserve.
